Etched Atlanta promotional products timeline from consult to delivery, about 2 to 4 weeks with 12 business days typical production and transit

Most custom promotional products land in about 2–4 weeks from first conversation to your door. Production itself usually takes about 7-10 business days after you approve the e-proof and payment is in. Shipping is extra.

Most orders take about 12 business days for production and transit at Etched Atlanta. Full turn-around time depends on the item, decoration method, quantity, and how fast proofs get approved.

What the timeline actually includes

The clock does not start when you send an email. It starts when three things are done:

  1. Product and imprint method are locked

  2. The digital e-proof is approved in writing

  3. Payment is received

Until then, we are still designing, checking stock, and quoting.

Typical ranges after approval:

  • Simple giveaways (pens, stickers, some drinkware): often 5–10 business days

  • Screen-printed apparel: often 7–12 business days

  • Embroidery, multi-color, or specialty items: often 10–15+ business days

  • Our standard planning number across most orders: about 10 business days in production

Then add transit. Ground is commonly 2–5 business days. Overnight or 2-day shipping shortens the last mile, not the factory time.

Production time vs. shipping time

These get mixed up all the time.

  • Production time = days to decorate and pack the order after proof + payment

  • Shipping time = days the carrier spends on the road

  • In-hands date = the day you actually need the boxes in your hands

Rush production and rush shipping are separate. You can rush one, both, or neither. Not every item qualifies for rush.

What speeds an order up

  • Vector logo (or let us vectorize it early)

  • Fast proof approval — delays here are the #1 reason jobs slip

  • In-stock blanks in the right colors and sizes

  • Realistic quantity and a simple imprint

  • A hard in-hands date told to us on day one

What slows it down

  • Artwork that needs redrawing or multiple revision rounds

  • Apparel size runs and mixed colors

  • Out-of-stock blanks or imported specialty goods

  • Large quantities, kits, or multi-location imprints

  • Peak seasons (holidays, back-to-school, big Atlanta event weeks)

What if you need it faster?

Tell us the in-hands date first. We will check which items can move on a rush production window (sometimes a few business days) and which shipping method still gets the carton there on time. Rush usually costs more and is not available on every item.

The safest plan for events, launches, and gifting: start 3–4 weeks out. If the date is already close, reach out anyway. We will tell you what is still possible instead of guessing.

Need a real date for a specific item? Get in touch. Send the product idea, quantity, and in-hands date. We will map production + shipping so you are not waiting on a truck the day before the event.
